About this policy
Blackout is an Android game developed and published by Mheni Studios. This policy applies to the Blackout app, package com.mhenistudios.blackout. For privacy questions, email mhenistudios@gmail.com.
Game progress on your device
Blackout does not require an account. District progress, challenge results, Storm Run records, best scores, reroute charges and music, sound, haptic and motion settings are stored on your device. Mheni Studios does not receive or sync this game data. Core gameplay works without an internet connection.
Blackout does not currently offer cloud sync or a progress export. Local game data remains on the device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Either action may permanently erase your progress, and Mheni Studios cannot recover it.
Optional advertising and consent
Blackout uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform. Where required, the game requests advertising consent. When the consent system permits ad requests, the ad SDK can load a rewarded ad in advance, even if you never choose to watch one.
Ads appear only when you choose to request a reward: Backup Crew after a failed outage or Crew Cache after a win. There are no banner ads or automatic interstitial ads. Declining an ad, or an ad being unavailable, does not block retrying, replaying or continuing the core game.
Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares IP address, app interaction information, diagnostics and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. An IP address can indicate an approximate location, although Blackout does not request device-location permission. The exact data used can depend on your region, device and privacy choices. Google states that this SDK data is encrypted in transit. See Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure and Google's privacy policy for its data practices, retention and controls.
Where required, you can review or change advertising consent using Ad privacy choices in Blackout's Settings. You can also manage the advertising ID through Android's privacy settings. These choices do not remove access to the core game.
Other device features
Blackout may use your device's vibration motor for optional haptic feedback. Music and artwork are packaged with the game. The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone or precise location, and it has no in-app purchases or separate analytics service.
Support messages and deletion
If you email Mheni Studios, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond to your enquiry and keep the correspondence only as long as needed for support or applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete support correspondence at mhenistudios@gmail.com.
To delete Blackout's local game data, clear its storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. Google controls data processed by its advertising services; consult Google's privacy policy for its retention and deletion options.
Changes
If Blackout's features or data practices change, this page will be updated with a new date. The policy in effect will remain available here and from the game's Settings.
